以下會繼續分享英王欽定本一些文法錯誤，是發生在聖經人物施洗約翰身上。

施洗約翰 John the Baptist

新約聖經中，為主耶穌施行浸禮的人，就是施洗的約翰John the Baptist。留意，英文文法中，描述一個人的特定身分，中間必定會用「the」。

馬太福音 3:1
「那時，有施洗的約翰出來，在猶太的曠野傳道，說：」

這一節的英文聖經，不論英王欽定本或是NIV譯本，都稱呼施洗約翰為John the Baptist。

KJV
In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea

NIV
In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea

但部分英王欽定本的新約經文，卻出現了曼德拉效應引致的低級文法錯誤。例如，

路加福音 7:20
那兩個人來到耶穌那裏，說：「施洗的約翰打發我們來問你：『那將要來的是你嗎？還是我們等候別人呢？』」

這裡提到「施洗的約翰」，當我們對照英王欽定本及NIV譯本，會發現英王欽定本出現John Baptist，而不是John the Baptist。

KJV
When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

NIV
When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, ‘Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?’ ”

同樣的錯誤，出現在施洗約翰被殺的經文。

馬太福音 14:8
女兒被母親所使，就說：「請把施洗約翰的頭放在盤子裏，拿來給我。」

同樣，當我們對照英王欽定本及NIV譯本，英王欽定本的John the Baptist，已變成John Baptist。當我們以 John the Baptist 查考英王欽定本，會發現新約其餘十數次的寫法都是正確，
唯獨上述兩次，出現了文法上的低級錯誤。

KJV
And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

NIV
Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”

此外，這篇文章裏會特別看一節集合不同錯處的經文。

羅馬書 9:29
又如以賽亞先前說過：若不是萬軍之主給我們存留餘種，我們早已像所多瑪、蛾摩拉的樣子了。

這節新約經文，提及舊約先知以賽亞的警告。我們看看英王欽定本，現在變成怎樣？

Romans 9:29
And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

這節經文，大家能夠發現多少個錯處呢？與NIV譯本放在一起，大家就能夠看見兩者的分別。

首先，先知以賽亞的名字，由Isaiah，變成Esaias E-s- a-i- a-s。




舊約中，先知以賽亞Isaiah的名字，出現了32次。Esaias在新約中，則出現了21次。我們的記憶中，曾否見過Esaias這個字呢？假如沒有和合本聖經的輔助，單憑Esaias這個字，根本無法聯想到以賽亞Isaiah。

另一個字，是所多瑪、蛾摩拉，所多瑪 Sodom，竟然多了一個a，變成了Sodoma。這個錯處，只出現在這一節經文。所多瑪的串法，聖經其他地方，包括新約和舊約共47節經文，都沒有最後的a。


到此，大家有否發現，其實曼德拉效應下，新約經文出現的奇怪字，就像廣東話讀音所翻譯的英文。例如︰Sodom，中文譯作所多瑪，改動後加上a，變成Sodoma，譯音就更像所多瑪。

又例如︰先知以利亞的英文名是Elijah，當新約改為Elias，廣東話的讀音就更像以利亞。

而俄摩拉Gomorrah，在這節經文中，本來最後兩個字母是ah，但竟然倒轉了，變成ha，Gomorrha G-o- m-o- r-r- h-a。這個字，在新約聖經出現了5次。而正確串法的Gomorrah，則出現在19節舊約聖經中。



此外，這節經文出現Lord of Sabaoth，中文譯作萬軍之主，NIV譯本是Lord Almightly。聖經中，Lord of Sabaoth出現過兩次。顯然，這個字是神的名字，而多年來一直聽著錫安教會信息的弟兄姊妹，對於神的不同名字，必定都有深刻印象。但大家的記憶中，聖經曾出現過Lord of Saboath這個字眼嗎？

什麼是曼德拉效應 Mandela Effect？
「曼德拉效應」Mandela Effect 是指一些人、事、物件的現實狀況，與大部分人的記憶印象不相符，但凡出現這個現象，就稱為「曼德拉效應」。 這效應名字的由來，是來自有關前任南非總統曼德拉的實際個案，正如現實所見，他於2013年離世。但是，原來早於2010年的時候就有人提出，他清楚記得，曼德拉於80年代的時候，經已在監獄中離世。提出的人能夠陳述當年自己看過的報道、葬禮的電視片段，甚至是曼德拉遺孀賺人熱淚的演講。 當這個說法提出後，竟然得到大量網民回應，表示有相同記憶。從此，當現實與人們的集體記憶出現不相符，就會被標籤為「曼德拉效應」。
